History & Biography
Abramelin was one of the many ultra-brutal death metal bands from Australia. The band was formed in 1988 and released a 7"EP under the Acheron name through France's Corpse Grinder Records in 1991 called Deprived Of The Afterlife. They changed their name to Abramelin and released an EP called Transgression From Acheron through Dark Oceans in 1994. Abramelin was licenced for Europe by Repulse.

The band was active nominally until 2002. Before dissolution, it goes without saying that drummer Matt Skitz was in and out as he was collecting notches towards his goal of being in every band everywhere. The official reformation was 2016. Drummer David Haley was the newest member. The band released a demo called Never Enough Snuff in 2020. Hammerheart Records released Abramelin’s new full-length, Sins Of The Father, in October 2024. The song Conflagration Of The Dreamers was a follow up to Flesh Furnace from the Deadspeak album and brought listeners up-to-date with the pyromaniac. Recorded independently Once the writing for Sins Of The Father was completed, Tim decided to hang up his guitar and take a break from all things Abramelin and focus on his personal life.
