History & Biography This band was founded in 2011 and issued the Ritual Warfare and Necromancer's Theme demos in 2012 and 2013 respectively. The act was the duo of Vlad and Ethan Rock. The Hyperborean Altar demo was pressed on tape by No Work Records. It featured bassist Arkkane Nekkrofuker who was replaced by James De Rais. Echoes Of Wrath was another demo. It was compiled with its predecessor as one release too. Demo MMXV had a mere two songs. Forest Of Tygers and Act Of Impalement shared a single.
The debut’s release was shared between Caligari Records and Unspeakable Axe. Caligari Records released Infernal Ordinance, the sophomore full-length from USA- based death/doom trio Act Of Impalement, in February 2023. This album was recorded in 2020 and 2021. Rock was the sole man remaining and Jerry Garner joined on bass and Aaron Hortman on drums in 2022. The new line-up played a concert to end 2022.
