History
A Foot In Cold Water was formed by the rhythm section of progressive rock band Nucleus. When the singer and guitarist of another struggling band join, the Toronto band is complete. The band had several canadian hit singles, even reaching the Top 10 at home. When daffodil declares bankruptcy, Horne leaves the band and the band produces Breaking Through via Rush's Anthem Records. The band lived from 1971 to 1974 to some acclaim. The members went on to various solo careers with members later converging in Private Eye. A brief tour of Canada occurred in 1988 and the band has appeared live several times since.
Mississippi Hippies was a turn-of-the-century band featuring Leggat and his brother Gord.
