History & Biography
Akani, which featured singer Jorge Rosado (Merauder), guitarists Anders Björler (At The Gates and The Haunted) and Daniel Antonsson (Dark Tranquillity), bassist Victor Brandt (Entombed and Satyricon) and drummer Anders Lowren (Dead Reprise) issued a 2014 7” EP through Demons Run Amok Records in April. Victor Brandt and Anders Björler departed in 2014. An album was issued in 2016.

The band was slowly working on new material in 2021 and 2022.
