History & Biography
The French version of Aleister was a pioneering thrash metal band beginning 1987, but never obtained a break and split up after ten years. Fear not of course, for like clockwork every band reforms and Aleister returned in 2018.

The first demo was issued in 1988 and called Annihilation. The band played live with Merciless (now Mercyless) before another demo called Aleister Live appeared. That same year brought a demo called Schizophrenia. 1990 Promo and Advanced Tape followed. The band included a song called Tribal Tech just to prove the title for the last demo is correct. This became the band’s album title three years later. The band had recorded it in Germany where the act’s label was based. The band, which had become progressively more technical, broke up.

The group’s return record was called No Way Out. New members included bassist Didier Renaud and guitarist Valentin Maugain. The band began working on new material in 2020. The group was mixing it in late 2022. It also reported it would be an EP. The band also appeared at La Guerre Du Son.
