History & Biography
Heavy metal band Amorta was founded by bassist Pasi Tanskanen (Thaurorod) in 2021. Other members were Erik Kraemer (Simulacrum and Kraemer), Harri Hytönen (Kalmah’s live guitarist) and Joonas Pykälä-Aho (Thaurorod and Amberian Dawn). The band had a song called Shadows Of Whitechapel, which was based on the story of Jack The Ripper, in the spring of 2023. The group then uploaded a song called Excelsior and added a lyric video.
