History & Biography
The glam/hard rock band, with roots in the end of the 1970s, was founded in 1982, recorded a 1983 demo and had one EP distributed by Enigma in 1984 called Get Up, Get Happy. The EP was produced by Don Dokken with assistance from Jeff Pilson. The band was managed by Jeff Gordon (who worked with Great White) and released the MLP on the man's McDon imprint. Gordon had brought the band to Dokken's attention and the two had put in a good word at Enogma Corporation. The Dokken guys worked on their Tooth And Nail album during the day and tweaked with Antix at night. Bassist BJ Norris and drummer Ian Evans had left a band called Pax while Greg Crewley and guitarist Jace White had been in a band called Jailbait.

A new MLP called I'll Take Your Love followed, but the line-up had changed with the members at each other's throats. Only the drummer was left standing. Bassist Robin Houde and guitarists Jesse (J.R.) Curtis and Jaye Paul were part of this new line-up. The act succumbed to internal differences in 1988. Retrospect reissued Get Up, Get Happy in 2005.

A band with the same name was doing the rounds in Canada simultaneously.
