History & Biography
One of the dozens of bands called Anubis running around this version licensed its name from the relevant god in 2018 and issued the Ashes demo in 2019. A self-titled demo followed. The band lost several guitarists. Devin had given up the bass position. Swords And Chains Records issued not just a little bit of hate, but a Hurricane Of Hate in 2020. The US meteorological survey did not know what to make of it, but the label called it an EP. Cleopatra re-released it in 2021. Eleazar Llerenas joined in 2020. Decreation Day was a short demo in 2023. Dark Paradise was the band's 2024 full-length on M-Theory Audio. The band made live growler Hannah Preston an official member. Anubis guitarist Justin Escamilla decided to step away from the band in the summer of 2024. Anubis was looking for a new guitarist. This meant that the band had played a sole gig as a sextet.
