History & Biography
The California, USA-based solo act was activated in 2000 and issued the ...Of Infinite Nothings demo in 2001. Blackthrone Productions of the UK issued the Reflections On Death EP in 2002. It featured one track, which was almost 30 minutes long. An Ode To Nothingness... was a split with Twilight Falls, which also featured the man Bleak. The band’s imprint Oven Pride Productions issued a full-length called Austere I & II in 2004. It was supposed to be issued through Blackthrone Productions, but the concern was defunct. The recording stemmed from 2002.

Rigorism Production re-issued the sole album in 2015.

The band called itself “anti religious black/dark metal.”

Reviews

BLEAK - REFLECTIONS ON DEATH BLACKTHRONE
Reflections On Death is an odd little CD. Comprised of one 28-minute single and adorned with a melancholy photograph of nature, it is instantly obvious that this isn't your average commercial release. In fact the label sells this for £3 and that's postage-paid. On the musical front, Bleak is blackened medleys and an agonized cacophony straight out of Dante's Inferno where with piece after classical piece the band creates its own synthesized symphony of doom. In fact most of the CD is a computerized attempt at classical Nietzsche. This is completely bleak. www.totaldarkness.co.uk.
