History & Biography
Caravellus was originally formed by guitar player Glauber Oliveira in 2002 as a studio project with session musicians. After the first demo recordings (2002 - 2004), the line-up was completed with Daniel Felix on keyboards, Charles Erlan on drums, Paula Araújo on vocals and Pedro Lee on bass guitar. Caravellus released its debut album Lighthouse And Shed through Erpland Records. After its release, the band parted ways with Pedro Lee, Charles Erlan and Paula Araújo.

Raphael Dantas (vocals), Cleison Johann (bass) and Pedro Nunes (drums) were recruited towards the end of 2007. Caravellus' second album Knowledge Machine was released by the French label Metalodic Records in 2010. The sophomore full-length opened the doors for a series of tours and important concerts as a support for Angra and Shaman. Oliveira joined Harllequin in 2013. Caravellus was put on hold. Harllequin The act began the process of writing and producing Inter Mundos in 2018. Deepening its Brazilian roots (such as maracatu, ciranda, frevo, caboclinho and coco de roda) the act mixed progressive hard rock with folk music. This was a concept album telling a love story between the characters Arteiro and Aurora. The story took place in the northeast of Brazil. The album featured guests from Angra, Shaman, Sons of Apollo and more.
