History & Biography
The Toronto, Canada and San Francisco, California-based band was formed in 2006. Signing to Prosthetic in the US and Germany’s Van Records 2011 brought In Witch Order. Doom-tinged metal band Castle announced the release of its fourth full-length through Ván Records for the summer of 2016. Entitled Welcome To The Graveyard, it was the follow-up to 2014's Under Siege. Since 2013 the band has utilized several live drummers including Death Angel’s Will Carroll. The band was touring the US and playing Toronto’s Doom Over TO Fest in 2016. The band conducted the Welcome To The Graveyard tour in 2017. Deal Thy Fate was on a new label for the band. One Knight Stands: Live In NY was a live recording from 2017. It was released by the band independently in 2024.

Heavy and doom metal trio Castle completed recording a new album, called Evil Remains, at Rain City Recorders in Vancouver, Canada in early 2024. The band signed with Hammerheart for its release. The band was touring Europe in September and had a video for the song Nosferatu Nights. There was a video for the song Deja Voodoo, which was comprised of fan filmed footage from recent touring. The act announced a tour of Canada and the USA for the spring and dates in Europe, including at Battle Cry Fest and Muskelrock Fest, for the summer.

Mat and Al were previously in bands together so the former man called in his friend in 2010 when Castle took shape.
