History & Biography
This eighties band should not be confused with the Finnish band of the same name. Charon was founded as a project by the Feldhahn brothers in 1983 and featured future Gamma Ray guitarist Henjo Richter. The brothers had producer credits and self-produced. The band toured with Wishbone Ash. The second album, which featured a completely different line-up, witnessed the unfortunate induction of a keyboard player, Luther D. Mel. Three members ended up in the melodic rock band Mydra.
