History & Biography
Conquest was founded by Brumley in the mid-1980s. Early demos were called Conquest (1988), Do-R-Die, Hellrazer and the full-length The Wrong Way, The Right Way And Our Way, which was released in 1990. The band’s modern day biography remembers the act forming in late 1989. Adrian Vesper was the initial second guitarist. He would leave in 1995. The band’s Gutter imprint issued another demo, which was called Try It... You'll Like It. The band’s Wicked Ways demo of 1993 featured a Metallian Towers’ self/model on its cover. Greece’s Unisound signed the band and released a record called Rage in 1997. The band was composed of Derrick Brumley, Mike Crook, Tony Restivo and drummer Tim Fleetwood.

The band reverted to demos and released Damnation in 2001 and No Boundaries in 2003. The band toured the USA and appeared at Metal Mindrage II in 2003. First Blood, in contrast, was an EP through Mausoleum Records in 2005. The band issued a demo called End Of Days and proved a pioneer of the self-cover version trend when it rerecorded and released it through Dark Star records in 2008. With the end of days happening as much as any other Christian prediction, Conquest released The War We Rage in 2013. Joey Saturn had arrived on bass here. The bandwagon jumping would not stop at self-cover versions. 2015 brought a cover versions’ CD called Under The Influence. There was a 2011 single called Never Forget. It took the band the jingoist route and commemorated 9/11.

USA-based power metal band Conquest had a new album called Paradox through Dark Star Records. Aside from Derrick Brumley and Mike Crook, the group was bassist Rob Boyer and Lee Skyles. The band had a gig opening for Burning Witches.

The group has shared the stage with Quiet Riot, Iron Maiden, Great White, Warrant and Morbid Angel among others. The monicker was inspired by an early song called Conquest.
