History
Formed in 1989, a demo called Consolation appeared in 1991 before the band recruited Mannloxx in 1992 and appeared on the And Justice For None sampler. The subsequent release was a split with Nembrionic Hammerdeath and showed that the band plays borderline death metal/grindcore. The Truth was a grinding 7" released between the first two albums. Consolation played with many acts like Cannibal Corpse, At The Gates, Altar and Pestilence. Stahlplaat saw more diversity and mixed in more keyboards and different speeds. The band also ran a secret side-project called Unlord.

No surprise to anyone, but the band returned in 2022.
