History & Biography
Distillator became Cryptosis in September of 2020. Cryptosis, formerly known as old school thrash metal band Distillator, signed with District 19 for European bookings and management immediately thereafter. Cryptosis’ debut album Bionic Swarm hit the stores on March 26th. Century Media Records released the album. The band had a video for the song Transcendence. The group was also on a split with Vektor in 2021. The band, Vektor, Algebra and Comaniac toured Europe in 2022. The Silent Call was a 2023 EP. The act appeared at Eindhoven Metal Meeting in late 2023. Cynic, Obscura and Cryptosis announced a tour of Europe for March 2024. Marco went from drumming for Flotsam And Jetsam to drumming for Fifth Angel, etc, and became one of those drums-for-hire..

Cryptosis returned with its sophomore album, entitled Celestial Death, through Century Media Records in March 2025. There was a video for the song Faceless Matter. The band was touring with Onslaught in Europe next May and June.
