History & Biography The band was formed in San Francisco and later relocated to Los Angeles
where they played the local scene. The band had to change its original
moniker due to a conflict with another similarly-named band - something
they did by offering a Motley Crue ticket to whoever came up with the
best suggestion. The band had a keyboardist at this time, but lost him
during an early demo recording. This demo was also released in Japan on
red vinyl. Cry Wolf was a bigger name in Japan than in its home country
where the album was
initially pressed by Sony Records! The album also yielded a video for
the song Pretender.
