History

This Belgian black metal band was founded in 2009. Dunkelkunst and Caverna Abismal Records distributed the group’s 2010 EP, Golgotha. The French imprint Les Acteurs De l'Ombre Productions issued the group’s first full-length in the spring of 2011. The band and Turkey-based Zifir had a split the year after before the Belgians’ signing with Code666 and releasing Blessed Extinction. Cult Of Erinyes’ new album Tiberivs is out this month through Code666. The band was a duo at time of recording, but Mastema followed Baal soon enough. A German show had to be cancelled. Vocalist Deha, who sings for anyone and everyone, soon joined.

The band utilizes live musicians and emphasizes visuals and videos. The label calls the band’s style, “ritualistic black metal.”
