History

Another in the long list of death metal bands of early nineties which hailed Finland, Depravity's lone MCD of 1993 (Silence Of The Centuries - Adipocere Records) followed the '91 promo, '93 promo and Remasquerade 7". Singer Petro had left in 1992. The band threw in the towel in 1993, but resurfaced in 2015 and played at the Finnish Death Metal Maniacs Fest. Dark Descent Records had issued a compilation for the band again called Silence Of The Centuries in 2011. As the original was lost, the cover was redrawn by the original artist Turkka Rantanen (Demilich, etc.).

Petri is a NAZI who was arrested in December, 1999 for attempting to kill a man with an axe. He was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in prison and was released in March 2002. He was a guest musician with Korpiklaani in 2007.
