History & Biography
Doom/ドゥーム was formed by Morota and Fujita. The Go Mad Yourself EP appeared in 1986. Complicated Mind was worked on in the USA. The group played a couple of New York, USA shows. The band was praised repeatedly as being innovative, original with the fretless bass work of Morota being called some of the best in the world. The band often wore make up and maintained an image. Morota passed away in 1999 after drowning in a river. He, reportedly, suffered from depression. The group disbanded in 2000.

Doom awakened in 2014 and issued Still Can’t The Dead whatever that means. This was on the band’s 13th Real Recordings imprint. Kodaira Takatoshi formerly of Casbah was on bass. A CD and DVD called Instruction Manual… 1988-1991 appeared in 2016 as well. Yet another DVD with live footage was 2017’s Insomniac Days – The History Of Doom. No/Re:Morse was a 2018 single. Abe Yukiya was on bass.
