History & Biography Born in 2018 and based in Verona, Italy, Drabik was formed by Marco Micheli (vocals), Alessandro Zambotto (drums) and Francesco Castagna (guitars). After having tried a couple of bass players, they found a solid line-up with Elia “Lona” Lonardi. In 2018 and 2019 Drabik brought its music to stages around Northern Italy, playing cover versions and original songs. The band uploaded the songs Exorcizamus Te and Misfit, both recorded at Mago Studio by Maurizio Fracchetti, in 2019. The act was compared to Korn and In Flames.
They started the writing process for a full-length album in 2020. It was produced by Marco “Maki” Coti Zelati, founder and bass player of Lacuna Coil. The album was recorded at Ivory Tears Studio. The band released its debut full-length Mannequin through Volcano Records & Promotion. The album’s release was followed by a European tour in 2023 and 2024. The band had a video for the song Broken in 2024.
