History & Biography
Drogheda was a US grindcore band with a dual-vocal approach that was founded by guitarist Buddy Mitchell in 1992. Wild Rags Records released the re-recorded tracks of the self-titled demo and the Unearthly EP on one CD in 1994. The Kill Extremist full-length demo was on the band’s imprint Extremist Records label. Singer Bo was quickly fired. The band had several EPs and a full-length called A Celebration Of Violence, which appeared in 1997. The band separated from Wild Rags in 1999 and continued working on its own. While the band was mostly inactive prior to Thug Anarchitect there were multiple split releases following the 1999 album.
