History The band was formed in 1991. Enter Self entered the scene in 1994 when
they played The Milwaukee Metal Fest. In 1997, with the help of producer
Jim Morris, they recorded the Transcendental Dawn demo sampler. The
bands demos were 1993's Inflicted, 1994's Reanimated and Decomposition
and 1995's Stained. They were managed by Metal Mom and consequently
played the Michigan Metal Fest. They signed to Lost Disciple in 1999 and
released Awaken In Agony - although there was some earlier interest from
the DOA MIA Records. The death metallers also opened for Marduk and
Deicide in 2001 - as well as bands like Slayer and Megadeth - and have
appeared on the usual array of 'Tribute' samplers. The band hails from
the US State of Tennessee.
