History The doom band was formed, initially as River's Edge, in late 1988 by
former Tiamat men Lagergren and Holmberg. Following a 1989 tape called
Cerebral Cessation, the band appeared on a couple of compilations, made
the demo Veiled In The Mists Of Mystery before military service -of
Stefan and Carl- put an end to the band. Holmberg formed a new band.
Back a couple of years later with a new line up, the band released an
independent EP (A Bitter Twist Of Fate-1993) before hearing from the
Italian distributor-turned-label and releasing an album on Godhead. The
band soon hit legal problems in the USA and disbanded to become
Judge-And-Jury after its second album. Man Against's title noted
people's tendency to advise and direct others. Tranquillity was a
short-lived band around 1990.
