History Florence, Tuscany-based band Flashback Of Anger was formed in mid-2003 by Antonio Sigismondi and Matteo Bonini and issued a demo called Panta Rei in 2004. Guitarist Alberto Amadori left the band to concentrate on his studies, but continued to write and contribute to the band. Emanuele Giorgetti and Giulio Cercato joined the band as second Keyboard player and Lead guitar respectively. Another CD called Off With My Heart followed this in 2006. The group opened for Fates Warning and others in 2007 at Florence’s Evolution festival. Gori toured with Gamma Ray on keyboards – as openers for Helloween - and the band soon garnered its own deal with Limb Music. The debut album, Splinters Of Life, was recorded at the High Gain Recording Studio with Dirk Schlächter (Gamma Ray). It was out on April 9th.
Just before entering the Studio in late 2009 to record its second album, Flashback Of Anger split with its rhythm guitarist Matteo Bonini. Gianmarco Lotti, guitarist for Astral Dive and Iron Maiden cover band Prowlers, replaced Matteo Bonini. Matteo left due to differences of opinion regarding the said project.
