History & Biography Frontiers Records signed British heavy metal band Furyon for the worldwide release of its debut album, Gravitas. It was out in March. This album was issued initially as a demo in 2010. In the meantime, the band had signed to RocknGrowl management. The band was born in 2006 in Brighton, UK’s sunbathing capital. The band had also issued a 2006 demo called 32 Hours, as well as 2010’s Underdog, which was promoted by commercial magazine Metal Hammer. UK band Furyon announced 2012 dates for a European tour in support of its digital single release Don’t Follow. The trek kicked off on September 6th with four shows in the U.K before moving on to continental Europe.
British band Furyon would play at Hungary’s MetalWar Festival 2014, which took place September 5th - 7th, 2014 in Budapest. Other bands confirmed included Vexillum and Twister. The band announced its second headline tour of Spain in September and October. The band was touring the UK with Mordred. Furyon recorded its second album, which was produced by Rick Beato (Shinedown, Fozzy, etc.) and looked to release it later in 2014. UK’s Furyon would release its second album, Lost Salvation, through Dream Records/Cargo Records. The release date was January 26th 2015. The band appeared at Poland's Woodstock Festival in August 2015 and split up in 2016.
