History & Biography
Glory Bell's Band was a Swedish band which played tried and true heavy metal - with three guitars - beginning in 1980. The singer (North) was the last to join. Early drummer Stefan Sverin quickly departed to Size 46 (later renamed to Fake). GBB was often compared to Raven and Accept and was signed to Sounds Of Scandinavia Recording, which later emerged from bankruptcy as IMP. The band had complained that the label did not pay them or the studio. The group was in a Mexican stand-off with the label for a while in fact.

Guitarist Mats, who had changed his surname to his mother's, and guitarist Franco went on to become a session musicians. There was a one-off reunion gig in the spring of 2002. The occasion was Franco Santunione's birthday and the man was clueless regarding the show. Glory North died in 2008.
