History & Biography Gomorrah was a UK-based thrash metal band that was part, and main organizer, of the Underground Titans tour with Decomposed, Incarcerated, Reign and others in 1992.
They had issued the Embryonic Stages demo in March of 1991. This was followed by a UK tour with Atomgod. The band's second demo, released in 1992, was produced by Benediction, Cathedral, etc. engineer Paul Johnston and entitled Umbilical Divorce.
Kerrang named the band to its Top Ten Unsigned Bands list. European shows with Cancer and Cerebral Fix followed.
Hard to believe yet the debut featured an appearance by ex-Marillion singer Fish. The album was again produced by Paul Johnston. A tour of the UK with Armoured Angel followed. The Brits also played the Milwaukee Metal Fest in 1995 having now signed with Black Mark Production.
The band entered Rhythm Studio in May of 1996 with Johnston at the helm and recorded Caress The Grotesque which came out in the autumn.
The guitarists went on to found Copro Records. Sven Olafson killed himself in 2014.
