History & Biography
Following the closing of the doors of Metal Church, guitarist Vanderhoof formed the rock, Southern rock and hard rock band Hall Aflame. Tom Weber was also an early Metal Church member. Guaranteed Forever was released in Europe and garnered attention in Germany in particular. The album featured Mike Howe of Metal Church as a guest musician. The band performed shows with Blue Oyster Cult and ZZ Top.

The band soon disappeared, but not before a second album had apparently been written. The practicing Christian guitarist went on to form Vanderhoof and reform Metal Church. Smith later produced the demo of F-Line.

The band, minus singer Lowd, was reactivated in 2021 and announced a new album would be recorded as soon as the line-up was completed. The guitarist announced in 2024 that an album was being completed for that year. Amplifire would be released through Rat Pak Records on May 3rd. Guitarist Kurdt was joined by bassist Brian Smith, singer Scott Nutter and drummer Bill Raymond.
