History & Biography
If the band's name reversed seems a little ahead of its time now, imagine how the fans must have felt in 1970 when faced with the heaviness of the band's only album. Head Machine was a heavy band often compared to early Uriah Heep. For good reason too; Head Machine was formed by Ken Hensley of Uriah Heep fame in between The Gods and Toe Fat and before joining Uriah Heep.

This interesting album dealt with the theme of sex. The one-off was planned by The Gods' producer David Paramor who also contributed vocals. Brian and John were brothers.
