History & Biography
Horizon was formed in 1982 and immediately wrote and recorded a five-song demo. Another demo was recorded next week and the act was soon contracted to Warner Publishing. The Dutch hard rockers were known for playing at the Aardshock magazine festival in 1984 and featuring Shmoulik Avigal from the highly-regarded Picture. The band lasted for three years only and split up in 1985, but not before recruiting Giovanni Pileri on keyboards who would later appear in Avalon.

Mover featured Arjen Anthony Lucassen. Avigal moved to the USA and joined The Rods. Live 1985 was in fact recorded at a radio station.

Avigal died due to cancer in 2020.
