History & Biography
Los Angeles-based Chris Impellitteri is a shredding metal guitarist influenced by Yngwie Malmsteen and Ritchie Blackmore. The guitarist's New England-based cover band Vice featured singer Rob Rock. Chris issued an independent demo in 1996 before putting together an impressive line-up with the likes of Graham Bonnet, Chuck Wright, and former Ted Nugent drummer Pat Torpey. Going forward line-ups have been fluid with Ken Mary, Claude Schnell, Rob Rock, Dave Spitz and Stet Howland coming and going. The band has several live video on Japanese label. Chris once auditioned for Alcatrazz, but lost the gig to Steve Vai. The act released a new album, entitled Wicked Maiden, in early 2009 featuring singer Rob Rock through Japan’s Victor Entertainment. The CD was originally dubbed Good and Evil. Frontiers Music would release a 2015 studio album, entitled Venom, on April 17th. Bob Rock remained on vocals. Frontiers Music released the next album, The Nature Of The Beast, on October 12th.

Wake The Beast: The Impellitteri Anthology was released through Global Rock Records on 30th September 2022. The same label had made the man’s back catalogue available again. War Machine featured drummer Paul Bostaph (Slayer, Anthrax, etc.).
