Reviews

INHUMANE DEATHCULT - TO HELL WITH YOUR SOUL - SINISTER SOUNDS
This is what it has come to. It is 2007 and a band whose leader was active in another band as long ago as 1991 records and delivers the most vicious album heard at Metallian Towers in the last several months. In the meanwhile, newer (so-called) death or black metal bands are minding the aesthetics, the scent of the pine needles or making sure they receive adequate blow jobs by having their girlfriends play keyboards or do opera whining on the road.
Inhumane Deathcult is chaotic face-ripping black metal with a guitar buzz saw that would impress the hell out of Dark Funeral. This is the son of Impaled Nazarene and early Immortal. In fact, the song Praise Him With Fear reminds one of early Impaled Nazarene. The Mass Of Full Moon features both deeper growls and chanting; whereas Summoning Chamber employs the kind of screaming Macabre might employ.
Given how Inhumane Deathcult hails from Finland which is the wimped out country of keyboards, effeminate poseurs and shrilly depressed weak little boys the band is like a piece of fine art hanging in a toilet stall. Splendid, but in an odd setting. - Ali “The Metallian"
