The Limburgers were formed in 1989. A self-titled demo was issued in 1991, but the band disappeared until 1995’s Our Path Is Dark And Lonely... thus explaining the absence. The initially death metal-oriented sounds were more doom metal by now. The group managed to obtain a contract with the Dutch label Teutonic Existence and issue ...And Darkness Drowned The Land Divine nine years after formation. A video was shot for the song La Tristesse Eternelle. The Prophecy Of Doom demo appeared in 2003, but it was another six years before a new record was issued. This time the band had found a Belgian label.
Belgian black death metal veterans Insanity Reigns Supreme would release a new studio album, called Unorthodox, on January 16th, 2015 through the fledgling Shiver Records. Chris was now on bass. Ron Cotar was now on guitars.
