History & Biography
Lament was a Mexican white metal band that was formed in the country’s capital city circa 1993. The band changed its name to Beheaded before noticing the other Beheaded and switching back to its original name. Beheaded issued a demo called El Valle De La decision in 1994. Iram is indeed Abel’s brother.
The group was picked up by the Christian Rowe Productions of Australia and issued its debut in 1997, which contained English lyrics. Abel Perez took over the vocals for the second album, which was issued on a Finnish label. Breathless abandons the growling and is less extreme. The group recruited a second guitarist called Benjamin Gomez in 2007 and issued a demo.
