History & Biography
Gothenburg’s Marionette is a band formed by Medin with a keyboardist in 2005. The stated influence was Japanese music. Singer The Roy initially fronted the group until his replacement in 2006. Following 2005’s A Lucid Dream demo, Terror Hearts was issued in 2007 with a Fredrik Nordström mix, which lead to a deal with Listenable Records. The band had participated in several music contests. In the meantime, the band shared the stage with Slayer and Machine Head. The group toured with Die Apokalyptischen Reiter in 2008. The band was not pure metal and hence Metal Hammer, and the like, gave it good reviews. The band played several headline concerts and opened for Deathstars and Sonic Syndicate on the Scandinavian run of the Death Syndicate European Tour. Deathstars and Sonic Syndicate for the Scandinavian dates of the Death Syndicate European Tour. The sophomore album was issued by Koch in Canada in 2010. The group opened for macho rock band Five Finger Death Punch.

Nerve was a demo in 2011. Alexander Andersson (Eldrimner) was on vocals here. The band, which growled on top of alternative rock, toured with Dead By April. Pivotal Rockordings, run by the band's manager Alexis Front, distributed it digitally. Another demo was Propaganda in 2016. The band threw in the towel then.
