History
Based in Genoa, Italy, Mastercastle was formed by Pier Gonella and the singer Giorgia Gueglio in 2008 and soon signed with Lion Music. Italian quartet Mastercastle was working on its fourth album entitled Metals in 2012 with an anticipated release of early 2013 on Lion Music. John Macaluso was on drums. Italian metallers Mastercastle returned on 19th of April 2013 with a new album, On Fire, which was released through Lion Music. The band’s new drummer was John Macaluso who was just a drum stool-for-hire. The band released a video clip and single for Who Cares For The Moon in 2021, which was from its upcoming studio album.
