History & Biography
Meathook Seed’s name and membership might allude to a death metal supergroup except the gang played an industrial form of extreme music. The band’s name was inspired by a phrase in the book Raism. The debut featured Harris, Tardy and Peres. Shane Embury of Napalm Death guested on the debut album, whose first pressing contained a wrong mix. Harris came back with a second album in 1999 that was virtually ignored by everyone. Producer Colin Richardson introduced Lamouret to Mitch Harris. While Peres and Tardy were gone, they did guest on BIBLE. Harris was reportedly working on new material in 2006.
