History & Biography
Sure, good old USofA had Metal Church, but Denmark erected the Metal Cross on the scene beginning 1983. The band wastefully released the Crucifying The Virgins demo in 1986. This demo was (naturally) re-released as a record in 2019. Tw new songs appeared on the Metal Outlet compilation and the band issued another demo tape, which was entitled M.A.D.H.O.U.S.E. This was it and the group disbanded after playing a show in its hometown on 16.12.1989.

As usual, the band re-appeared in this case in 2014 to appear at the Metal Magic VII festival in Denmark in July. A warm up gig preceded the festival appearance. Singer Henrik Kjellerup and bassist Henrik Flohr were not part of the reformation. The band re-released its demo tracks. The Drone was a song and video in 2021. Denmark-based Metal Cross had a video for the song Soul Ripper in 2022, which was the title-track for the band’s album through Target Group. The group opened for Artillery in Denmark. Metal Cross uploaded a song called Anger Distorted and made it available through From The Vaults in 2023. It spoke to social problems in Denmark. Metal Cross and Meridian collaborated on a song called Merry Bloody Christmas, which was available through From The Vaults in late 2023. The year 2024 ended with a gig with Face Monday and Anarchy Zone.
