History & Biography
Linköping-based Mindless Sinner began committing its deeds in 1981. Bassist Magnus Van Wassenaar quit in 1982. Karlsson, who would later quit due to a hand injury, switched to bass. The Master Of Evil EP of 1983 was issued by Fingerprint. It was financed by the band winning a local music contest. The band and label parted ways. The band, not unusually, became more commercial after its album and changed its name to Mindless and issued a further album. This was also instigated by its signing to the Delta label. This record was called Missin' Pieces and released in 1989. The group played gigs in Sweden, but eventually disbanded in 1990. The group members would later become Skinny Horse.

Göransson would apply to replace Rob Halford in 1993. He ran a Judas Priest fan site.

The band became Mindless Sinner again with the turn of the century. The act's return coincided with its 20th anniversary. A gig was played at the Ghost MC club in Linköping on November 3rd 2001. There was also Motala Metal Festival 2002. Activities were again resumed in 2014. The act reunited and appeared at the Swedish festival Muskelrock 2014 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Master Of Evil record. The band had planned this as a one-off. Keeping It True was recorded at the festival by the same name and released initially independently in 2018. It was recorded in 2017. The band was booked for Turbo Fest 2018, Metalheadz Open Air 2019 and Sweden Rock Festival 2023. Tommy Johansson, who had joined in 1982, left in 2022. Linus Melchiorsen took his place. Jawbreaker Records had three new tape rereleases by Mindless Sinner in 2024 thus completing its collection of five cassettes by the Swedes.
