History & Biography
The Pennsylvania-based group was active between 2004 and 2009 and again between 2010 and 2012 as Necromance. The force behind it was the Teets siblings. Jeff is a fan of Evergrey and has that band’s logo tattooed on his arm, which is reflected in the music. The 2013 demo was called Mask Of Lies and was funded with help from Kickstarter. The debut album was Back from The Edge. Bassist Mike LePond, a session musician for hire, came and went in 2014 and 2015. Rich was the band’s previous and also live drummer. The USA-based progressive power metal band Mindmaze released a music video for Sign Of Life, the first single from the album Resolve. The album was released later on April 28th 2017 in Europe and North America through Inner Wound Recordings. The band was supporting Arkona and Sirenia in Canada and USA that spring. The pandemic cancelled gigs for the band. The band opened for Mourn The Light in 2023 and reported it was working on a new album otherwise. Sarah and Jeff performed together acoustically as a duo.
