History & Biography
This German thrash metal band was formed in the northern tip of Germany or Schleswig-Holstein in 1983. The act used the Destero monicker briefly. The band issued two 1986 demos which gave the band a reputation in the underground. These were called The Slaughter Continues and The Oath Of Blood. The Power Of Darkness came in 1987 and lead to a deal for an album called Power Of Darkness. This album was illegally released by white power label, No Colours Records before being re-issued in 2010 through I Hate.

The Death Metal EP appeared in 1990 through Remedy. Welcome To... EP was issued in 1993 through Molten Lave. The band split up. The group naturally reformed and issued 2009’s God May Show You Mercy...We Will Not. Alf was on bass. The group managed to play a concert in Mexico City in 2013. Beast Of Nations was a 2016 EP. The act lined up a European tour. David of Morghulon took over the bass. Jörg Bock left in 2017. Several songs from the sophomore record appeared on the self-cover version EP Re-Recorded MMXXI in 2021. B-Sides was a 2022 independent demo featuring 1980s' material.

In Greek mythology, a Minotaur was a creature with the head of a bull and the body of a man. Minotaur was also an instrumental on Tygers Of Pan Tang's 1981 album, Spellbound. Bands with similar names were also in existence in the UK and Canada.
