History & Biography
Mourn was formed in 1991 in London, England by Will Palmer. A 1992 rehearsal and a 1993 demo called For Evermore were issued. Alan French (later of Sloth) was on drums. Alastair Riddell was on second guitar. The band signed with Cathedral singer Lee Dorian’s Rise Above Records. Mourn would also open for Cathedral. The band was also heard on the label’s Dark Passages II compilation. The only album was reissued by the label in 2007.

Palmer worked at Rise above and edited a publication called Iron Fist. Wilson became a pop singer. She had earlier quit and rejoined Mourn.
