History & Biography
The Brazilian thrash metal band was formed in Belo Horizonte (Sarcofago, Chakal, Sepultura, etc.) in 1985 as Desaster, but quickly changed its monicker when singer Silvio joined. The boys had watched the movie The Mutilator and thought the title would suit them. Total Desaster was the name of a track on Destruction’s 1984 EP, Sentence Of Death. Singer Silvio also roadied for Sepultura.

The 1986 demo was called Bloodstorm and featured Kleber and Alexander "Magoo" on guitars, Rodrigo Neves on drums and his younger brother Ricardo Neves on bass. The Grave Desecration demo came out in the same year and featured the song Evil Conspiracy again. Brazilian label Cogumelo promptly included the band on a split with Chakal, Sarcofago and Holocausto. Still on the label, the band issued Immortal Force in 1987 with C.M. on guitars and Kleber now on bass. The Neves brothers were gone. Ricardo N. was ill with nephritis (kidney inflammation) and had to throw in the towel and his brother followed him. Silvio left in 1987. He did not get along with Magoo and Kleber. Alexander "Magoo" had also taken over the vocals in 1988. The second album featured a mostly new line-up therefore. The band was on a Cogumelo compilation, called The Lost Tapes Of Cogumelo, in 1990. The band threw in the towel in 1993.

Alexander de Azevedo Felipe died in England due to a reported heart attack in 1997. Magoo had turned down the offer to Join Sepultura in 1987 following Jairo’s departure. The band was reportedly reforming in 2001. The band reformed and officially was together from 2018 to 2023. The first order of business was E Aí Cara? Metal Fest in Belo Horizonte, Brazil on April 7th, 2018. Only Ricardo N. and Rodrigo N. from the original line-up had returned however. The latter would leave before 2023 however. The act was billed at Maranhão Open Air in 2022. Several vocalists, including Holocausto's Rodrigo Magalhães, came and went. Guitarists were Luiz Sepulchral (Sepulchral Voice) and Kiko Ianni. Other bands appearing were Pathologic Noise (former band of guitarist Cesar) and Cracked Skull among others. Live At Lemmy's Bar was issued in 2021 and amazingly recorded at the end of 2020.
