History & Biography
The band was formed as Xtazy in 2001. The act played covers of music from the likes of Symphony X. The new monicker came in 2006. Brennus Music picked the band up and issued Hope. The group then switched to XIII Bis Records. Nightmare Records signed a deal with Tunisian progressive metal band Myrath (‘Legacy’) and released an album on January 26th, 2010. The band’s third album, entitled Desert Call, was being issued in Europe through XIII Bis Records. Morgan Berthet arrived in 2011. He replaced Frenchman Piwee Desfray (Heavenly) who did not last. The band supported Orphaned Land. The group appeared at the Dubai Rock Festival 2013. 2016’s Legacy was on Nightmare, which had licenses for the act’s previous two discs. Kévin Codfert of Adagio, also a producer, toured with the band on keyboards. The band opened for Symphony X on a tour of Europe.

The band switched to earMusic for Shehili. There were videos for the songs Dance and No Holding Back. The band also re-released Xtazy’s Double Face demo. The group appeared at the Sweden Rock Festival 2019 twice and included a DVD of the performance in the French Rock Hard magazine. Live In Carthage was a CD and DVD. The group played several European festivals in 2021. Elyes Bouchoucha left in 2022. The band was touring Europe with Kamelot and Eleine and League Of Distortion. The act also became active on Patreon in order to collect money from its fans.

Zaher Zorgati had won a pop idol contest in Lebanon prior to joining Myrath. The band’s music is often called Oriental metal. An Ayman Jawadi was the Arabic lyricist for the band.
