History & Biography
France-based solo black metal act Noirsuaire was issuing its Poisoned Vessel Resurrection demo through Impure Wedding Productions in 2021. A drummer joined. The act had an EP called Black Flame Of Unholy Tradition through Khaoszophy Productions in 2024. The act reported that the drums were recorded at the rehearsal room, the other instruments in the musician’s attic and that the release is a precursor to a full-length. Still, the attack of EPs and demos continued when the act issued the Wrath Of The Silent Temples EP through Khaoszophy Productions in March 2025. It did partly recycle previously available music.

NOIRSUAIRE - BY THE SCREAMS OF PORPHYRIC SERAPHS
For anyone who remembers the Immortal demo or the underground sound from 1990s' Mütiilation, Noirsuaire and its latest demo is a lifesaver/deathbringer. It is ironic that two old-school tracks that are actually black metal are refreshing. This sounds as rough as it gets. It has the quality of a four-track recording rising from the basement or, as the band tells it, recorded in the attic, but listening again to the very old Ulver tunes and this back-to-back and By The Screams… sounds clear suddenly. The music is evil, gruff, distorted and singer N shrieks and growls as he pleases. The Wrath Of The Silent Temples is more melodic and even has a harmony within. These two songs are supposedly leading to an album by Noirsuaire, but the band has been saying that for several two-song demos by now. Also, this is a demo and yet the irony is that it has more promotion than many releases by these record companies out there. There is even an actual drummer on this recording. The b&w cover is a good fit too.
It has musical and idealistic appeal to me, but I'd have no problem with anyone detesting this. After all, the seraphs are clearly an acquired taste and as much about feeling as music. https://noirsuaire.bandcamp.com/ - Anna Tergel
