History
This black/death metal band existed between 2006 and 2007 as Gates To Oblivion before changing its monicker. The group issued a demo called Decadent Religious Archetype. Then came a split with Soul Eater and an EP called Relics Of A Dead Faith. The Spell Of Damnation, from Mexico-based Ominous Crucifix, was out through FDA Rekotz in early 2012. A split release with Entrails was also issued. Dark recollections of Mexico issued a compilation of the band, called Retribution After T he Last Tribulation, in 2018. The band had had multiple guitarists, but long-time six-stringer Vicente Borja left in 2018. Lord Azabua Abyss was in. Rubens Nergal also left. Destroyer Messiah took his place.
