History & Biography
Turku area-based Pakeni was born in the year of some people’s lord 1992 as a brutal and grinding underground act before quickly getting old and transitioning to a wimpy late Entombed sound. The Silent Majority was a 1993 demo. Virgin's Delirium was the next demo. Morbid Records of Germany issued the 1996 EP Detergent Bubble Bath. The housewife market did not react. The American arm of Napalm Records issued the sole debut and duly went out of business.

The band called its music Pink Metal. The monicker references the word ‘Carcass’ in Finnish.
