History & Biography
Pathologist was a Carcass-influenced grindcore act from The Czech Republic that existed for approximately six years beginning 1989. The members had toiled in underground acts Sarkom and Fucking Death. Early demos were Sexual Cadaveric Mysophilia (whose cover even stated “Carcass…”) and Medical Jurisprudence. These featured hundreds of songs. The debut did not make a secret of its influences either and was called Putrefactive And Cadaverous Odes About Necroticism. A demo called Forensic Medicine And Pathology preceded the Grinding Opus Of Forensic Medical Problems album. Bassist Alda Aleš Novotný had left by now. Leviathan Records issued a compilation for the band called Re-Regurgitation Over Fuckin' Pathological Splatter. The label reported that the tracks were sped up on this compilation.
