History & Biography The death-doom metal band from Boise, Idaho, U.S.A was formed through the collaboration of members of bands such as Hummingbird Of Death, Tempestarii and Lunar Temple (also on Sol Y Nieve) in 2016. Live 31-01-17 was a demo. They released their limited edition debut album through Sol Y Nieve in 2018 and shared the stage with bands like Archgoat, Bell Witch, Body Void, Primitive Man, Uada and Mortuary Drape. Bell Witch, Spirit Possession and Possessive toured North America in 2023.
Brucia Records presented Res Ipsa Loquitur, the second full-length release by Possessive on November 7th 2024. The guitarist and bassist were also credited with “noise.” There was an immediate album release concert.
