SLUMBER - FALLOUT - CANDLELIGHT
It is difficult making a case for bands like this. Guitar chords, delicate and soft acoustic passages, K&F (keyboards & female vocals), growls, heavenly melodies and so forth all come together in Slumber and then the whole concoction is marketed to heavy metal fans. Why? Does it make sense to mix tea with coffee? Do people react wonderfully when sunshine is mixed with snow? Do patriots cheer and accord a warm reception to a soldier who fights for both sides? Do music fans send pop bands which mix in blast beats to the top of the charts? Does it make sense to have rap bands incorporate ska?
Why on Satan's earth would it make sense to form a band like this, sign a band like this or like a band like this? - Ali "The Metallian"
